Privacy Policy
Last updated: September 1, 2026
DogTools ("we", "us", "our") operates dogtools.online. This Privacy Policy explains what information the website does and does not collect. Our core principle is simple: the tools on this site run entirely in your browser, and the data you type into them never reaches our servers.
1. Data processed by our tools
All tools — including the HTTP Header Analyzer, JWT Parser & Validator, Regex Explainer, CIDR Calculator, MIME Type Lookup, Base64 Batch Encoder and Color Contrast Checker — perform their calculations locally with client-side JavaScript. Inputs such as HTTP headers, tokens, IP addresses, regular expressions, colors and any secrets you type are not transmitted to us, logged, stored, or shared. You can verify this by disconnecting from the internet after a page has loaded; the tools continue to work.
2. Information we do NOT collect
- We do not require accounts or registration, and we do not collect names, emails or passwords.
- We do not upload, read or store the content you enter into any tool.
- We do not run user-tracking analytics that identify you personally.
3. Automatically collected technical data
Like most websites, our static hosting provider or CDN may temporarily process standard server request metadata (such as IP address, browser type, referrer and the pages requested) for security, abuse prevention and aggregate traffic statistics. This data is processed by the hosting infrastructure, not by the tools, and is not linked to anything you type into a tool.
4. Cookies and advertising
We may display advertising through third-party providers such as Google AdSense to keep the tools free. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads based on your visit to our site and/or other sites on the internet.
- You may opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google My Ad Center (or the legacy Google Ads Settings).
- You can opt out of third-party vendors' use of cookies for personalized advertising at www.aboutads.info/choices (US) or www.youronlinechoices.eu (Europe).
- You can learn how Google handles data in advertising at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.
- You can also disable cookies in your browser settings or browse in private/incognito mode.
We do not use cookies to track what you enter into our tools. If and when advertising is enabled, its cookies are governed by the relevant third parties.
5. Local storage
Tools may keep your input in the current page session for live previews. This state lives in your browser memory and disappears when you close or refresh the page; it is not sent anywhere.
6. Children's privacy
The site is intended for a general professional and developer audience and does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
7. Your rights
Because we do not maintain accounts or a database of personal data, there is no profile for us to export or delete on our side. Anything you entered exists only in your own browser and can be cleared by refreshing or closing the page.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with a revised "last updated" date.
